Saturday started very early with the boys' Flag Football game. Then the kids and I worked on the following: getting groceries, mowing at our rental house and at the church, cleaning the church and making potluck, then we get a call from Russell. He said he drilled a hole for the pipe in the picture and he believed there was a lot of cat manure under the floor. Well, knowing Bob's schedule is crazy, I took Cody and we started tearing apart the floor. It wasn't an easy job. That area was hard wood, covered with linoleum from the ancient past. It didn't remove very easily.
Russell was correct. We discovered that the cats could get under the floor from the basement and this was the spot they used.

I Am Travis
I am imaginative and a comedian.
I wonder about building things.
I can hear dead silence and turn it into a roaring battle.
I see bad guys around corners and I get them good.
I want a miniature ATV.
I am imaginative and a comedian.
I pretend to be an army man.
I feel invincible.
I touch a box and it changes into a spaceship.
I worry about gross bugs.
I cry when my when my mom says, "math time.''
I am imaginative and a comedian.
I am imaginative and a comedian.
I understand that I need to serve God.
I say, "Believe in God."
I dream about a giant mansion.
I try to build a giant building of Legos.
I hope to go to Heaven.

I Am Cody
I am a hard worker, who likes to figure things out.
I wonder about mechanics and how things work.
I hear the clank of metal and the hum of machines.
I see myself building an off-road vehicle.
I want to be trustworthy.
I am a hardworker, who likes to figure things out.
I pretend to shoot guns.
I feel invincible when I am being a monkey.
I touch a tool like a mechanic would a vehicle.
I worry when others don't listen to me.
I cry when something fails that I know should work.
I am a hard worker, who likes to figure things out.
I understand that my parents are the boss.
I say that God can do all things.
I dream of being a great sword fighter.
I try to be the best that I can be.
I hope to be a good friend.

First Flag Football Game
The boys both are playing NFL Youth Flag Football through the City of Grand Junction. They have been practicing and I was getting worried. The coach said she didn't know much about the game and was looking for help. I barely know enough to understand what is going on. Thankfully, another dad was able to help. At practice you notice all their strengths and weaknesses. We had a lot of weaknesses to improve upon. I was just impressed with their game today. Each member, of the six on their team, did their part. Each of the four touchdowns were from different team members. Meleah took these pictures(really, I know I do a bad job but she did take these.) This is the point Cody scored. He is the runningback most of the time. He is on the right in the picture below.
Travis has his own set of strengths. He is perfect on defense. He pulled most of the flags of the other team. He played Center(?not sure if that is right or not) most of the game. He even had to miss a flying shoe as he dived for the opponent's flag. It was a fun game to watch.

Travis has been building. He built a squadron of airplanes as well as this handy desk. Cody did help him with it. It does require a good sense of balance to use it however.

This next one is of the kitchen. It opened up quite a bit and as you used to walk around the cabinets to go down the hallway, now they will be pushed back a bit. Straight down the hallway is the new entrance. That room is the livingroom and diningroom.
Last but not least, the deck and front door. These guys worked hard while they were here. Cody and Travis screwed in the top layer of wood for the deck. There are some nice views from here. In the picture is Crystal and Mike with Meleah in front of them. My dad and he is holding Marshall. Glen is the one on the step.
Here are some of the latest construction pictures. These are the things that my dad and Mike were able to do while "vacationing" in Colorado. I am sure thankful for their time and efforts. It is like they stretched the house to make it seem more roomy.
This is a picture of the Master bathroom and closet. It is taken from the Master Bedroom.(used to be the livingroom)
