This is one of the experiments we did recently. It sure was impressive to see and do. We learned about cohesion, adhesion and surface tension. This was the final experiment and the most fun.
This was just dish soap, with a little water. He had a straw made out of papertowel and tin foil. The other two did the experiments as well but by the time I got the camera out, they were gone.
Science ALWAYS scared me, didn't matter what we were doing. I love first grade science...what can be better than space, plants, and habitats? I love seeing your family at work. Keep posting the pictures.
